They include students' essays, iMovie presentations (designed and edited "Colonial Nightly News") and original websites. These informational websites include student developed multiple choice quizzes, based on the sites' content, through the use of Google Forms.
The students' also created, administered, and analyzed the data from a Reading Survey. Each group typed and administered their survey to one of four 6th grade classes. Their work was then analyzed in Google Sheets where they used formulas to find measures of central tendency and create charts including line graph, pie chart, box an whisker chart, and a dot plot. The GSE Spring 2015, Teaching Memo, and Self Reflection Tools sections are utilized in the Graduate Teacher Education courses I teach at the Rutgers University and Touro College.
To create your own classroom Google Site I developed step-by-step tutorials for website creation, design, and maintenance. The video tutorials in the "How To" section of the site lead you through the process of using some of the educational resources on this site. These videos can also be used by your students to create multimedia presentation. These tutorials include How to Create and Edit a Quick Time Movie Recording in iMovie, How to Create a NearPod presentation, or How to Use EdPuzzle.
There are also a multitude of paper-based and online interactive graphic organizers for reading and writing. I've also developed a few for math including, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions.
